Yachtz Radcliff

Yachtz Radcliff founded Musae in 2014 with a singular mission: to empower artists by helping them reach larger audiences and secure the financial support they deserve. His diverse background and relentless passion for the arts and innovation have been instrumental in shaping Musae’s vision and success.

A distinguished musician, Yachtz was an all-national classical musician and played jazz with the legendary Wynton Marsalis. He trained with the renowned saxophone virtuoso Fredrick Hemke at Northwestern University and studied philosophy with Axel Muller, reflecting his commitment to both artistic excellence and intellectual depth.

Yachtz’s financial acumen was honed on Wall Street, where he raised and managed substantial capital at Oppenheimer and Maxim Group. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found an alternative energy hedge fund, where he made early investments in companies like Tesla.

Yachtz's philanthropic efforts include co-founding a 501(c)(3) organization that built two health clinics in Sierra Leone, providing vital medical services to 20,000 people, educating 30,000 mothers, and screening 200,000 children for malnutrition. This organization partnered with the WHO and eventually integrated with Partners in Health, leaving a lasting impact on the community.

At Musae, Yachtz brought together a diverse and talented team of over 50 engineers, designers, artists, and technologists from across three continents and 15 countries to help artists reach larger audiences and achieve greater financial support.

Yachtz’s lifelong passions include music, reading, art, technology, culture, design, chess, soccer, The New Yorker, Pomeranians, and improving society. His multifaceted interests and unwavering dedication to making a positive impact continue to drive Musae’s mission forward.
